For you and the others where the original “fix” didn’t work, I have had a more indepth look at the problem and have updated the post which should now hopefully cover all possibilities

I’ve had the same difficulty installing on my new Windows 7 laptop. In my case it’s my network drive. It won’t install with the network drive connected. I moved ‘My Documents’ to O:.

I’ve tried the registry edit but it doesn’t help. The only mention of O: in that registry section was for ‘O:My Documents’.

I’m now looking for further ideas.
